“His name is Andrew and he has smething bad inside his head. My father says nly a miracle can save him. S hw much des a miracle cst?”
“We dn’t sell it here, child. I’m srry,” the pharmacist said, smiling sadly at the little girl.
“Listen, I have the mney t pay fr it. If it isn’t enugh, I can try t get sme mre. Just tell me hw much it csts.”
In the drugstre, a well-dressed custmer, asked the little girl,“What kind f a miracle des yur brther need?” That well-dressed man was Dr Carltn Armstrng, a surgen, specialising in neursurgery(神经外科).
“I dn’t knw,” she replied, “he’s really sick and my father can’t pay fr an peratin. S I have brught my savings.”
“Hw much d yu have?” asked the man.“One dllar and eleven cents,” the girl answered bitterly.
“Well, what a cincidence,” smiled the man.“A dllar and eleven cents—the exact price f a miracle fr yur little brther.”

Smiling gently twards the by, Armstrng whispered,“Yur sister bught yu a miracle which wuld sn chase away the mnster in yur brain!” Shting a grateful lk at his sister and Dr Armstrng, Andrew smiled. Tw days later, the by was transferred t Dr Armstrng’s department where a 5-hur peratin was cnducted.
