Schl Gardens Culd Help Children Try Mre Vegetables
It’s nt always enjyable fr children t eat vegetables. But what if a garden is built in the schl? New research suggests that a gardening prgram in schls can increase children’s vegetable intake (摄入量) .
Hw the Study Was Carried Out
The study was carried ut in eight schls. Each schl was in the gardening prgram fr ne schl year. Every child in grades 3-5 received a ttal f eighteen 60-minute lessns acrss the schl year. In the prgram, each schl built a garden, where children learned t grw their wn fresh prduce, like fruit and vegetables.

The study fund that vegetable intake f the children wh grew their wn prduce increased greatly acrss the year. Pdareva, 28, was brn in the hmetwn f Russia’s famus pet Sergei Yesenin. She has lved petry (诗歌) since her childhd. Grwing up, she wrte many pems in bth Russian and English. After she came t China t study Chinese in 2013, the wrld f Chinese petry pened up befre her.
