表语从句一、表语从句的概述
用来作表语的从句叫作表语从句。表语从句说明主语是什么或者怎么样,位于系动词之后。可以接表语从句的系动词有be,seem,lk,sund,taste,feel,remain,appear等。

春天似乎已经来了。
二、引导表语从句的常见连接词
常见的有连接代词 wh,which,whatever 等,连接副词 hw,why,whenever 等,从属连词 as,that,whether,because等。
1.that引导表语从句
that引导表语从句时仅起连接作用,无任何意义,在从句中不作任何成分,通常可省略。
The truble is that she has lst his address.
麻烦的是她弄丢了他的地址。
My suggestin is that we shuld tell him.
我的建议是我们应该告诉他。
2.whether引导表语从句
whether引导表语从句时起连接作用,意为“是否”,但在从句中不作任何成分,也不可省略。
The questin remains whether they will be able t help us.
问题还是他们是否能帮我们。

3.连接代词引导表语从句
连接代词what,wh,whm,which等引导表语从句时,除了在句中起连接作用外,在从句中还可充当主语、表语、宾语等成分,它们都不可省略。

4.连接副词引导表语从句
连接副词where,when ,why ,hw等引导表语从句时,除了在句中起连接作用外,在从句中还分别充当地点、时间、原因、方式状语,它们都不可省略。

5.because,as if/as thugh等引导表语从句
because引导的表语从句常见于“This/That/It is/was because...”句型中。as if/as thugh引导的表语从句常置于系动词lk,seem,sund,be,becme等后面。
That's because yu can't appreciate music.
那是因为你不会欣赏音乐。
It sunds as if smene is kncking at the dr.
听起来好像有人在敲门。

①why和because引导的表语从句
I didn't phne her,and that's why she gt angry with me.
(强调“没打电话”这一结果)我没有给她打电话,那就是她生我气的原因。

(强调“生气”这一原因)我没有给她打电话,那是因为我生她的气了。
②that与what引导的宾语从句
what既引导表语从句,同时又在从句中作成分(主语、宾语、表语等)。这时what相当于all that/everything that,常译成“……的(东西、事情、话等)”;而that只起连接作用,本身无实际意义,在从句中也不充当任何成分。

最重要的是,我们应该采取一些有效的措施来保护环境。

中国正变得越来越强大,不再是过去的样子了。
③表语从句中的虚拟语气
在表语从句中,表示间接的命令、要求、请求、建议、决定等,主句中的主语通常是:advice,suggestin,prpsal,request,rder,idea等,从句谓语形式用“shuld+动词原形”(shuld可以省略)。

我的建议是我们明天早点出发。
