In 2019, after retiring frm her career as a scial wrker, Ane Freed-Kernis decided t build a hme wrkshp and devte all f her free time t stne carving. “I might be cvered head t te in dust but I’m happy—it was smething I needed mre f in my life when I hit 60,” she says.
