The baguette, a lng, thin French bread, is being added t UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. UNESCO experts gathering in Mrcc this week decided that the simple French bread—made nly f flur, water, salt, and yeast—was wrth U.N. recgnitin, after France’s culture ministry warned f a “cntinuus drp” in the number f traditinal bakeries(烘焙坊), with sme 400 clsing every year ver the past half century.

I dn’t usually keep huseplants. Anything in pts gets either verwatered r underwatered. But after my diagnsis(诊断) with Cvid-19, I was frced t stay at hme. Feeling lnely, I lved the idea f having smething new and green arund.
My friend Mitch, a gardener, gave me what he said was a lucky bamb plant in a tiny green pt with three pencil-size stalks(茎) tied tgether. I placed the plant in the living rm where I spent much f the day. I smiled when I lked at it ver the cup f cffee.
