    Karl was Fred’s sn. When his sn was little, Fred’s wife passed away, s a muntainus respnsibility landed n Fred’s shulders. Fred was fnd f and cared abut his sn s much that he raised his sn with all his heart and sul. He taught him t walk, talk, read and write. He als taught him hw t be a true and mral man. When Karl came hme with an injury due t falling ff his bike r smething else, it wuld hurt Fred’s heart mre than it wuld hurt the by. Whenever Karl went dwn with a fever, Fred wuld sit beside him day and night, barely sleeping a wink (合眼). He always supprted Karl in every aspect. Gradually, Karl grew up t becme an adult.
    Hw deeply Fred lved his sn! Hwever, Fred was unprepared fr the day when his belved sn Karl tld him he wuld leave and start his wn business in a new city.
    “But, Karl, yu are t yung t start a business,” Fred warned his sn. “Yu still have a lng way t g. I think yu can help me manage the cafe my grandma left t me first. One week later, Karl packed his things and left fr the new city, leaving the sad and wrried father behind.
    Three mnths passed. One night, Fred gt a call frm his sn. It was strange because Karl seldm called him up after he left fr the new city. “Dad, I shuld have fllwed yur suggestins and stayed at hme. I went bankrupt (破产的) and I am in debt nw,” Karl said. “I knew this wuld happen smeday,” Fred painfully thught. He planned t help his sn and made ne f his mst difficult chices. “Dn’t wrry, my sn. Luckily, yu will succeed t (继承) a huge amunt f mney frm yur uncle, sn,” Fred tld Karl.
