    Kade was pretty fast and he set a 5K recrd fr his age grup at last year’s race, s I was surprised t see slwer runners crssing the finish line befre him. “This is weird. He shuld be ahead f them. He might just be having a bad race,” I thught t myself. But as the minutes passed, my wrry intensified. My heart raced at the thught that Kade might be lst r injured.

I didn’t realize the mistake until I saw the 10K turnarund sign, but I didn’t want t give up halfway,” explained Kade. At that mment, I knew withut dubt that he was t becme a prfessinal runner.
