He’s psting regularly n scial media abut all the prgress he’s making. He’s mtivated and ding great!
At last I’ll have t remind him that prgress isn’t linear (线性的) and that he’ll finally meet with sme challenges in the rad, but I’m letting him enjy the present prgress in the meantime and will help him tackle them when that time cmes.
I’m grateful fr him giving me the pprtunity t serve him and give him advice, and I’m grateful t see that he’s investing the time and mney t prmte his life. He even psted recently abut hw grateful he is with all the recent changes in his life.

Meat, milk, cheese — just sme f the things prvided by gats. But nw we can als add fire safety t this list. As wildfires damage increasingly large areas f the planet each year, gatherds (牧羊人) may ffer a way f reducing the risk.
Wildfires are made pssible by ht, dry weather cnditins as well as a supply f dead plants that serve as fuel. We may have limited cntrl ver the frmer factr, but we can cntrl the latter. Reducing the fuel lad lwers the pssibility f wildfires ccurring, as well as the amunt f damage caused. This is where we can turn t gats t search fr a slutin, which are being used fr landscape management in a number f places arund the wrld, including Greece, Spain, Prtugal, Chile and a number f parts f the United States.
Gats have an extremely pwerful digestive (消化的) system. Many kinds f plants that are dangerus t ther animals can be easily eaten by gats. It’s nt just fully-grwn plants that gats are able t deal with: any seeds that pass thrugh a gat can’t survive and will nt grw. Human clearance teams have t wrry abut getting t the hard-t-reach places where plants grw but gats dn’t. They are skilled muntain climbers and when standing n their hind legs, they can reach up t tw metres t the plants that humans wuld struggle t reach. Because f this, using gats can reduce bth the pssibility f wrkplace accidents and the amunt f mney spent n fire prtectin measures. Gatherds have been fund t clear sme parts f land fr a third f the price f human cntrl teams.
Cst and safety aren’t the nly benefits. Gats are quieter than grass-cutting machines and peple usually prefer t see gats eating grass rather than litres f herbicide (除草剂). Children are ften attracted t see the gats at wrk and this prvides an pprtunity t educate peple abut preventing wildfires.

D yu like travelling t ther places, cities and cuntries? Many peple d. Turism is a huge industry — it’s as large as r larger than the il, fd and car industries. It creates s many jbs that ne in every ten peple in the wrld wrks in turism.
Hwever, fr many peple and places, turism is nt a cmpletely psitive thing. Sme places receive millins f turists a year, which leads t prblems fr lcal peple. Turism can have an effect n the envirnment as well. Natural areas are ruined t make space t build htels and turist facilities, and building them cnsumes a lt f energy and resurces. Histric buildings are damaged, such as thse in Venice by large cruise ships (游轮) entering the city. These ships als d harm t animal and plant life. Mre turism means mre crwds, nise, rubbish and pllutin.
Sme gvernments have already taken actins. In Barcelna and New Yrk, there are nw limits n shrt-term rental accmmdatin. The number f cruise ships entering Venice is limited nw t. Imprtantly, individual turists can help by chsing better ways f visiting places. Fr example, if turists visit Venice n a cruise ship but they sleep and eat all their meals n the ship, des the lcal cmmunity in Venice really benefit frm their visit? If nt, it culd be better t chse a different frm f turism, ne that benefits the city and lcal peple mre.
Despite sme prblems, if we can make turism mre sustainable (可持续的), everyne can benefit frm it, and peple can cntinue t enjy visiting these places in the future.
    32. Why is it hard fr New Yrkers t buy cheap huses?

    C. Because the gvernment prvide little land t build huses.
    D. Because the huses internatinal cmpanies sell are expensive.
    33. Why are cruise ships mentined in Paragraph 3?
    A. T stress plants and animals die frm them.
    B. T shw turism wastes energy and resurces.
    C. T explain why turism is nt envirnmentally friendly.
    D. T suggest the necessity f preventing the develpment f turism.
    34. What des Paragraph 4 mainly stress abut turism?
    A. The cruise ship is nt a gd chice fr turists.
    B. Turism shuld be develped in a sustainable way.
    C. Lcal cmmunity in Venice shws n interest in turism.
    D. Gvernments have dne extremely well in develping turism.
    35. What is the authr’s attitude twards turism?
    A. Unclear.B. Disapprving.C. Dubtful.D. Psitive.
