如何判断关系词在定语从句中做什么成分?
◆that引导的定语从句that引导定语从句时, 既可以指人, 也可以指物, 在从句中可以作主语或宾语。e.g. He is a persn that des what he says. 他是一个说话算数的人。 The car that my father bught last mnth is beautiful. 我爸爸上个月买的汽车很漂亮。
只需要把定语从句单独拿出来，读一遍，缺少什么，关系词就做什么成分！ des what he says.My father bught last mnth is beautiful.
(persn是先行词, that在从句中作主语)
(The car是先行词, that在从句中作宾语)
◆wh引导的定语从句wh引导定语从句时只能指人, 在从句中可以作主语或宾语。
(musicians是先行词, wh在从句中作主语)
whm在从句中只能作宾语, 可省略，但 介词后不能省。 She is the girl （whm） I have been lking fr.= She is the girl fr whm I have been lking. 她就是我一直在找的那个女孩。
He likes musicians wh write their wn sngs.他喜欢那些能自己作曲的音乐家。
◆which引导的定语从句which引导定语从句时, 只能指物, 在从句中可以作主语或宾语。I want t take away the bk which yu shwed me yesterday.The apple which is red is mine.
(bk是先行词, which在从句中作宾语)

◆whse引导的定语从句whse引导定语从句时, 可以指人也可以指物, 在从句中可以作定语。I knw the girl whse hair is lng.I live in a huse whse windws face suth.

(huse 是先行词， whse在从句中作定语)
关系代词的用法 that指人也指物，主语宾语都能用。 which指物不指人，主语宾语都能用。 wh和whm都指人，主语宾语要分清。 whse, whse真管用，指人指物它都行。

◆When 表示时间，在定语从句中做时间状语。
◆Where 表示地点，在定语从句中做地点状语。
◆Why 表示原因，在定语从句中做原因状语。
一、只能用that作关系代词的情况。
1、当先行词是all, much, little, few, smething, anything, everything, nthing, nne 等不定代词时。
2、当先行词被the nly, the last, the very等词修饰时。
3、当先行词是序数词（first…)或被序数词修饰时。
4、当先行词被最高级（best…）修饰时。
5、当先行词前面有all, n, little, few, any等词修饰时。
6、当先行词既有人又有物时。
7、当主句是以wh或which开头的特殊疑问句时。
二、只能用which作关系代词的情况。1、关系代词前有介词时。 2、先行词本身为that, thse时。 3、 引导非限制性定语从句（主句和从句之间用逗号隔开）时。
eg: This is the huse in which they live last year. 这是他们去年住过的房子。
eg: What’s that which was put in the bx？ 放在盒子里的那个东西是什么啊？

宜用wh不用that作关系代词的情况。
1.先行词是anyne, smene, thse，peple时，关系词使用wh Is there anyne wh wants t g there?2.在there be 句型中，先行词指人,关系词用wh There is an ld man wh wants t see yu. There are many yung men wh are against him.
当关系代词在从句中作主语时，从句的谓语动词要与先行词的单复数形式保持一致。 eg: He is a musician wh plays quiet sngs. 他是一个演奏安静音乐的人。 we like teachers that /wh are kind and patient.

只能用关系代词that而不用which的情况
当先行词是all, much, little, few, smething, anything, everything, nthing, nne 等不定代词时。
当先行词被形容词的最高级或序数词修饰时。
