    让步状语从句表示即便出现从句中的情况, 主句动作仍然会发生, 有“退一步说……”的意思。Althugh it is very dangerus, I will try.即使很危险,我也要试一试。
    althugh/thugh 引导的让步状语从句
    (注意)althugh, thugh 表示“虽然”“尽管”之意。这两个连词意思大致相同, 在一般情况下可以互换使用。在口语中,thugh 比较常用, althugh比thugh 正式。
    (易错点)作连词时意思为“尽管、虽然”, 用来引导让步状语从句, 一般位于句首。所引导的让步状语从句不能与 but 连用, 但可以与 yet, still 等词连用。Althugh it was expensive, we still decided t buy it. 虽然它贵,我们还是决定买它。
    中考在线1:I was still feeling hungry ________ I had eaten sme sandwiches. A. s B. thugh C. since本题用语法判定法。考查连词的用法。s 因此,表因果;thugh 虽然,尽管,表让步;since 既然,因此,表原因。根据前文“我仍然感觉到饿”及后文“我已经吃了一些三明治”可知,前后文之间是让步关系。故选B。

    结果状语从句用来补充说明主句动作发生所带来的结果。(重点) 的意思是“如此……以至于”, s 是副词, 修饰形容词或副词, 即“s+ 形容词/副词+that”。He runs s fast that nbdy can catch up with him. 他跑得非常快, 没人能追上他。
    考点1 和 引导的结果状语从句

    【点拨】本题用语法判定法。考查连词的用法。 如此……以至于……,s 后接形容词或副词; 如此……以至于……,such 后接名词(短语); 太……以至于不能……,表示否定。根据后文“我想再看一遍”可推知前文表示“电影《哪吒》如此有教育意义”,排除C 项;而educatinal 为形容词,所以应用s 修饰。故选A。
    (重点) 与 的意思相同, such 后的中心词为名词, 即“ such(+a/an)(+ 形容词)+ 名词+that”。He was such an hnest by that he was praised by the teacher. 他是一个如此诚实的男孩儿, 因而受到了老师的表扬。

    (难点) 如果名词前有many, much, few和little 修饰时, 用“”结构,但当little意为“小”时,用“”结构。He had s many falls that he was black and blue all ver. 他摔了很多跤, 以至于全身上下青一块, 紫一块的。

    目的状语从句用以说明主句动作发生的目的。s that 引导的目的状语从句, 作“以便,为的是”解, 可与in rder that 相互转换,从句中通常用may(might) 或can(culd) 等。We learn English s that/in rder that we can get mre knwledge.我们学英语为的是可以获得更多的知识。
    考点1 s that 引导的目的状语从句
    (注意) 如果s that 引出的从句为否定结构, 则其谓语多用shuld+v., 此时,s that 常译为“免得”或“以免”。He started early s that he shuld nt miss the speech. 他早早就出发了,以免错过那个演讲。
    当s that 引导的从句的主语和主句的主语一致时, 可用in rder t 或不定式短语替换从句的开始部分, 其意义基本不变。
    They gt up early s that they culd catch the first bus. → They gt up early in rder t catch the first bus. → They gt up early t catch the first bus.他们起得早是为了赶上第一班公共汽车。
