A few days later, I received a call frm my schl, saying my cllege acceptance letter had arrived. Then I hurried t the schl with my parents. It was beynd my wildest dream till that mment. As a matter f fact, I dubted then whether I was in the dream. I nrmally dreaded the lng walk t the schl. But that day was different. There seemed t be smething in the air, an electric current, cnnecting my bdy t the letter. When I gt it, I was really afraid that the envelp was empty. But there was a white package inside. With my heart beating faster, I wndered whether it culd really be what was expected.
My parents excitedly said behind me, “Well, pen the envelp!” What I grabbed in my hands cntained everything I had been waiting fr. Slwly, I pened it and a flash f CONGRATULATIONS in bld bright letters caught my eyes. A feeling f happiness and relief rushed thrugh my bdy. I was hlding my first ffer frm a gd cllege. Needless t say, it wuldn’t have been pssible if it weren’t fr the cuntless hurs f studying and writing, but mst imprtantly, my parents’ cnstant reminders, in fact, were the best frm f educatin fr me. “Thank yu, Mm and Dad!” I said gratefully.
