Virtual reality is quickly becming the new technlgical frntier. Tech cmpanies everywhere seem t be racing t get their ft in the VR dr. Hwever, virtual reality has a set f challenges and hurdles that it must vercme in rder t wrk well. It shuld be nted that VR is heavily dependent n being very fast, very accurate and very gd-lking. If it isn’t, the viewer will feel mtin sick r discnnected frm the wrld that VR is trying t create.
Nw that we can actually build VR headsets that begin t meet these requirements, we are seeing a rising interest in VR. As it rises, s des the interest in creating new media t be experienced in using virtual reality. Jurnalism is a medium built n relevance. Jurnalists shuld always be finding new ways t tell stries and deliver cntent. It is a gldmine fr strytelling. What better ways t tell a stry t smene than t put them right in the center f it?
Virtual reality is a pwerful tl fr jurnalists. The cnsumer isn’t just reading r watching smething play ut; they’re experiencing it.
