In 2019, an unassuming package arrived at my frnt dr. Inside was a 2-by-4-ft scrapbk (剪贴簿) filled with precius candy wrappers ver 70 years ld. Why was it sent t me? I’m the funder f the Candy Wrapper Museum, my nline “radside attractin”.

In 2002, inspiratin struck again. Why wait until retirement? Why nt pen the museum right nw n the internet, the ultimate “superhighway”?
Building the nline museum was a massive six-mnth, ne-persn prject. First, I srted rughly 650 f my favrite wrappers int themes such as: Celebrities, Classics, Hlidays, Big Eats, and N Fun. I scanned everything that was flat, phtgraphed the rest, scanned the prints, cleaned all the nw-digital images, then wrte lighthearted cmments t prvide each visitr with my persnal tur. Then, I bught a bk n hw t write HTML and built the site myself.
