(1)、by介词,意为“通过;靠”,此处表示方法、手段,其后可接名词、代词或动词-ing形式。

辨析alud,lud与ludly
alud只用作副词,意为“大声地;出声地”,多有使别人听得到的意味。常与动词read,think等连用,无比较级
lud可用作形容词和副词,作副词时意为“高声地;大声地;响亮地”,指在说笑等方面。常与动词
speak,talk,laugh.sing等连用,且须放在这些动词之后,多用于比较级
ludly“高声地”,有时与lud通用,但含有“喧闹”的意味。另外,在用于比较级或最高级时,通常用lud而不用ludly

(3)、practice此处用作动词,意为“练习”,其后接名词、代词或动词-ing形式作宾语。

(1)、it在句中作形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式短语t understand spken English.。

It+be+形容词+fr/f sb.t d sth.意为“对某人来说做某事是……的”。因为动词不定式(短语)作主语较长,而谓语部分相对较短,用t作形式主语避免了“头重脚轻”。

(2)、t…t…意为“太……而不能……”,为典型的隐性否定结构。t是副词,后接形容词或副词的原级;t是动词不定式符号,后接动词原形。

find+it+adj.+t d sth.意为“发现做某事…”。find后接复合宾语,其中it在句中作形式宾语,真正的宾语是后面的动词不定式,形容词在句中作宾语补足语。

6、What is the secret t language learning? 语言学习的秘诀是什么?(教材P3 3a)
the secret t….意为“……的秘诀”,其中t为介词,表示所属,意为“……的……”。secret在此处用作可数名词,意为“秘密;秘诀”。

(2)、fall in lve with意为“爱上(某人/某物)”,表动作,不与一段时间连用。与其意思相近的短语是be in lve with,意为“与……相爱”,指处于恋爱中,表状态,可以与一段时间连用。

(l)、discver动词,意为“发现;发觉”。

辨析 discver与invent
discver“发现”,指发现或偶然发现原本存在的,但一直未被认识或不为人知的东西
invent“发明”,指创造发明出新的原来并不存在的东西

(2)、listening t smething interesting是动名词短语,在此宾语从句中作主语。动名词(短语)作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式Watching TV t much is bad fr ur eyes. 看电视太多对我们的眼睛有害。

s that引导目的状语从句,意为“以便;为了”,相当于in rder that….结构。其从句中的谓语动词常和can,may,shuld等情态动词及be able t连用。

我爸爸给我买了一辆自行车,以便我能够快一点到学校。
辨析s that与s.….that
s that引导目的状语从句,表示“以便;为了”;还可引导结果状语从句,表示“因此;所以”
引导结果状语从句,表示“如此……以至于”

目的、结果s that,相貌一样难分开;
目的状语s that,从句之中有情态;
结果状语s….that,主从停顿分两排;

(1)、hw t increase my reading speed是“疑问词+动词不定式”结构,在句中作knw的宾语。疑问代词what,wh,which和疑问副词when,where,hw,why等可以与不定式一起构成“疑问词十动词不定式”结构,在句中作主语、宾语、表语或宾语补足语等成分。

(2)、increase此处用作及物动词,意为“增加;增长”。常构成短语:
①、increase t….“增加/增长到…”。

②、increase by…“增加/增长了……”
◆The price f petrl increased by 5%. 汽油的价格增长了5%。
(3)、speed名词,意为“速度”。常用短语:at a/the speed f….“以……的速度”;at full speed“全速地”;with great speed“快速地”。

make mistakes,make a mistake意为“犯错”;其中mistake作名词,意为“错误”。Make mistakes in….表示“在……方面犯错误”。

(1)、create及物动词,意为“创造;创建”,指经过努力使事物从无到有或用粗糙的原料制造出完美的产品来,创造的对象可以是具体的、也可以是抽象的。
