【What】This lessn is the beginning f a new semester. The new students and teachers greet each ther and carry ut dialgues, which are mainly abut greetings, asking fr names, hw t spell names and say gdbye.
【Hw】By reading the picture and related cnversatins, students can learn abut the new faces in the textbk. In additin, students can use simple greetings and gdbyes t cmplete simple dialgues.
【Why】Via reviewing hw t greet and ask each ther's name, students can take the first step t meet new teachers, students and friends. Using greetings in different situatins, students can prmte their understanding between teachers and students.
The analysis f students.
【Strength】Students have learned the expressins f greetings and have basic knwledge f English like skills f listening and speaking.
【Weakness】In the new semester, students are nt familiar with each ther, which may result in their fear f presenting themselves in public. What’s mre, sme students may have prblems in starting cnversatins in different cntexts.
