高中知识衔接
高中阶段要求考生在掌握初中所学的基数词、序数词、分数、小数等表示时间、日期、钟点、数目等的用法的基础上,重点掌握年代表示法、年龄表示法以及不定数量词表示“多”的用法。
高中阶段,数词表示比较的用法也比较常见。
知识一:表示年代
表示在某个世纪的几十年代,用“in the+逢十的基数词的复数”。基数词的复数若用阿拉伯数字表示,可直接加-s,也可加-'s。如“在20世纪80年代”可表达为inhe1980's或in the1980s,读作in the nineteen eighties.注意:不要漏掉the。

知识二:表示年龄
1.表示某人几岁的确切年龄,用“基数词+years ld'”或“基数词+f age'”或者“at the agef+基数词”,也可直接用基数词。如:

She's seventy years ld.=She's seventy years f age.她70岁了。
2.表示某人几十多岁这样的大概年龄,用“in ne's+逢十的基数词的复数(如tens,twenties,thirties等)”来表达。如:
He went t America in his thirties.他30多岁时去了美国。

知识三:表示约数
1.用tens/dzens/scres/hundreds/thusands/millins f表示“几十、几百、上千、成千上万”等。如:
Thusands f peple died in the earthquake.数以千计的人死于地震。
2.用less than,under,belw,almst,nearly,upt等来表示小于或接近某数目。如:
nearly tw hurs将近两个小时
3.用mre than,beynd,r mre,ver,abve等来表示超过或多于某个数目。如:
mre than100 years一百多年
4.用r,r s,abut,arund,sme,mre r less等表示在某一数目左右。如:
abut50pens大约50支钢笔a mnth r s大约一个月
5.用t,frm.…t.…,between.…and.….表示介于两数间。如:
His salary rse frm100 dllars a mnth t120 dllars a mnth.他的工资从每月100美元涨到了每月120美元。
6.下列词皆表示“许多;大量”:
dzens f,scres f,many,a gd/great many,many a修饰可数名词。a great/gd deal f,a large amunt f,large amunts f修饰不可数名词。a lt f,lts f,plenty f,a large quantity f,large quantities f等既可修饰不可数名词又可修饰可数名词。

知识四:倍数
英语用twice表示两倍,两倍以上用基数词加times表示。以下是几种常见的表示倍数的句型:
1.倍数+as+形容词/副词(原级)+as。如:
This bridge is three times as lng as that ne.这座桥是那座桥的三倍长。
2、倍数+形容词或副词的比较级+than。如:
This bridge is three times lnger than that ne.这座桥是那座桥的三倍长。(这座桥比那座桥长两倍。)
3.倍数+the size/length/weight.….+f+表示比较对象的名词。如:
This bridge is three times the length f that ne.这座桥是那座桥的三倍长。
4.倍数+what引导的从句。如:
The cllege is twice what it was5 years ag.这所大学的规模是它五年前的两倍。
