探究点三:Language pints
1. Hw can we get there? 我们怎样才能到那里?
这是询问交通方式的特殊疑问句,在英语中向别人询问去某地的交通方式时用hw来提问;
回答一般用“by+表示交通工具的名词”或n ft短语,用句子来回答要注意人称和动词形式的变化。
其结构为:Hw + can+主语+动词原形+其他?

常见的问路方式:1. Hw can I get(t)…?
2. Which is the way(t)…?
3. Where is …?
4. Can yu tell me the way(t)…?
常见的指路方式:
1. G dwn/alng this street.
2. Turn left/right at the traffic lights.
3. Turn left/right at the first/secnd/third turning.
4. Yu can/will see…n yur left/right.
2. Let's take the bus!让我们乘公共汽车吧!
take the bus 乘公共汽车
take 在此意为“乘,坐”,其后常接具体的交通工具,
且在表示交通工具的名词前通常有冠词或物主代词等修饰词;
take the bus=by bus;
“by+交通工具”也可表示交通方式,在句中作状语;
表示交通工具的名词必须是单数,且交通工具前不加冠词。
e. g. He ges t schl by bike.
介词 + 交通工具也可转化成动词短语 。
I g t schl by bus. = I take a bus t schl.
I g t schl by bicycle.= I ride a bicycle t schl.
I g t schl by car.= I take a car t schl.
I g t schl n ft.= I walk t schl.
其他表达交通方式的形式:
1. n/in + 限定词 + 表示交通工具的名词; 乘坐小汽车用in,乘坐其他交通工具用n;
e. g. n a busin a car
2. 某些动词短语:
walk t步行去
drive t 开车去
fly t乘飞机去
3. Danny and Jenny get ff the bus. 丹尼和詹妮下了公共汽车。
get ff 意为“从……下来”;
e. g. Get ff the tree.
另外,get ff 还有“下(车、船、飞机等)”的意思,
其反义词组是get n,意为“上(车、船、飞机等)”。

4. But they get lst n the way t the bkstre.
但是,在去书店的路上他们迷路了。
lst的用法:
1. lst作形容词,意为“失踪的;丢失的;迷路的”,get lst 意为“迷路”;
lst是动词lse“丢失;失去”的过去式。
2. n the way t 在去……的路上
“n the way t + 表示地点的名词”,意为“在去……的路上”;若表示地点的词是副词 hme, here, there等,则要省略介词 t。
e. g.
I’ll buy sme flwers n the way hme.
2. 若要表达“在某人去……的路上”,
则用“n + 形容词性物主代词 + way t. . . ” ;
e. g. He is n his way t the bkstre.
