So would you like to have a robot? Look at the picture and say something about Hobo.What is Hobo?It is an e-dog and it is a kind of robot.Step 2 Presentation 1. Ask students to listen to Comic strip and answer the following questions.Ask students to listen to Eddie and Hobo’s conversation carefully and try to answer the following questions.(1) Is Eddie happy with such a good robot? Why or why not? (2)Will Hobo post the letter for Eddie? Why or why not?Answers: (1) No. Because Eddie is writing a letter to complain about Hobo to the robot shop. (2)No. Because he says that he doesn’t know when he’ll post the letter.2. Ask students to read Comic strip.Ask students to listen to the tape and read after it. Then act out the dialogue.
