Earlier this year, I visited Baluran Natinal Park in East Java with my family. This park, named after an extinct vlcan, is the nly place in Indnesia that lks like an African savanna (热带草原). Therefre, it is called Africa in Indnesia. Yu can see deer, large water buffales, small mice, peaccks, eagles, mnkeys and many mre animals.
When walking in the park, we really had the feeling that we were in Africa. This was mainly due t its climate. The air was ht and dry rather than warm and wet. It was cmpletely different frm what I gt used t in Indnesia and I was s astnished.
In the park, yu will never get bred because the whle neighbrhd is full f mnkeys. But these mnkeys are rude and aggressive(好斗的). Mnkeys guarded ur huse and wanted fd. When we didn't give them fd, they wuld rb us f fd. S each f us was ffered a stick by the rangers(护林员). They taught us that when the mnkeys were t aggressive, we must lift the stick. And it wrked perfectly.
In the late afternn, we went fr a walk t explre the area. On the way, we saw many species f trees that culdn't be fund anywhere else in Indnesia. Sn the sunset apprached s we decided t g back. But darkness fell abut halfway thrugh the jurney. We nly had the pr light frm ur phnes. And we heard nly the sunds f animals arund us. It was pssible that hungry animals might cme clse t us and take us as their dinner. We started t feel scared and quickened ur steps.
