    When I was in Primary Five, I was in the basketball schl team. Every mnth we wuld have a basketball match against anther schl's basketball team. In spite f all the cheers we received frm ur classmates and the amunt f training we had, we had never wn a single match befre. That was due t ur lack f teamwrk and cperatin.
    During ne f ur training sessins, ur schl team was divided int tw t have a match against each ther. The interschl cmpetitin was cming up and nne f us wanted t miss ur chance f getting that gld trphy (奖品). “Three, tw, ne, start!” ur basketball cach, Cach Leng, shuted. Jhn, wh was in my team, managed t grab the ball that Cach Leng threw in the air. Since Jhn grabbed the ball, he refused t let anyne, nt even his teammates, take it.
    “Pass the ball t me, Jhn!” I shuted. I was in a gd psitin t sht the ball int the hp (篮筺). T my shck, Jhn made a rude face at me. I made an attempt t grab the ball frm him. When I gt my hands n the ball, it became a tugfwar (激烈竞争) between Jhn and me. Cach Leng shk his head and explded like an active vlcan. “Children! Is this the type f behavir that I shuld be seeing? The match is in tw weeks! D yu even knw the imprtance f teamwrk?” Cach Leng gave us a disappinted lk. It seemed as if he had sme sad news t tell us.
    I was right.
    Cach Leng explained that he wuld be retiring after the match. “I hpe yu can shw me yur teamwrk and cperate with ne anther in this match befre I retire.” I chked n my tears. My heart sank. We were giving Cach Leng such a tugh time, when all he wanted was fr us t shw teamwrk in the match. After that day, my teammates and I were determined t d ur best and wrk as a team.

The referee blew the whistle and flung the basketball int the air. I knew I had t give my team a head start, s I leaped up in the air t grab the ball. “Jhn, catch!” I yelled at the tp f my vice. Jhn was shrt but he culd run at lightning speed, and I think the ther team assumed he was the last persn I wuld pass the ball t. Befre the ppsing team culd reach Jhn, he had already sht the ball int the basketball hp. Our team cheered with jy, and I punched the air twice with my fist.
    Jhn did a perfect verhead thrw and I caught the ball in mid­air. As the entire ppsing team charged twards me, I kept my calm even thugh I was surrunded. I threw the ball ver their heads. It flew thrugh the air like a missile int the hands f Eric, wh was standing right behind ur ppnents, next t the basketball hp. Eric dunked the ball in. We wn the match 5-0. Finally, we managed t wrk as a team and Cach Leng was very satisfied. Each f us received a trphy fr ur amazing effrts. As I recalled the match, I smiled as I lked at the trphy. I realized that the mst imprtant thing was nt the trphy but the value f teamwrk that I had learnt frm that match.
