Just last year, I was 56 a wrkshp when smene kncked at the classrm dr.
    56. A. bserving B. preparing
    C. designing D. cnducting
In the stre, I asked each f my kids t pick smething they thught ur “ friend ” there wuld 46
    46. A. rder B. supply
    C. appreciate D. discver
此时appreciate的英文含义为 t be grateful fr sth. that sb had dne; t welcme sth.
Larry pulled ver, set the brake and 47 the fire extinguisher (灭火器) . Tw gd bursts frm the extinguisher and the fire was put ut.
    47. A. gt hld f B. prepared
    C. tk charge f D. cntrlled
At the base is a rainfrest. It ends abruptly at 3,000 meters, 54 land f lw grwing plants. Further up, the weather changes—lw cluds envelpe the muntains, which are cvered with thick grass.
    A. hlding n t B. ging back t
    C. living up t D.giving way t
When they shwed up fr their Sunday game, they were cmpletely different. They had begun t integrate (融合) the kinds f play and teamwrk they had 54 the day befre int their game.
    A. seen B. knwn C. heard D. read
The kid apparently knw the 44 . But ur insisting it’s merely a windw has kept them frm attempting millins f requests t pen the dr.
I’m telling them they can’t pen what they abslutely knw is a dr. what引导的宾语从句可以得知孩子们其实是知道真相的,进而推出44空应选择的是D项truth。
I shuld just 59 repeatedly having t say, “N. We can’t g utside nw.”
