Fr mst climbers, reaching the peak f Munt Qmlangma nce is a unique achievement. Hwever, dn't tell that t Kami Rita, wh climbed up t the peak f the dangerus muntain fr the 22nd time n May 16, 2018, breaking the previus recrd f 21 successful adventures he shared with tw fellw guides. And the experienced muntaineer is nt dne yet! Befre starting the recent climb, the 48­year­ld annunced, “My gal is t reach the peak f Munt Qmlangma at least 25 times. I want t set a new recrd nt just fr myself but fr my family, the Sherpa peple and fr my cuntry, Nepal.”
Mr. Rita, wh earns $10，000 fr each Qmlangma expeditin, has successfully climbed the muntain almst every year since the age f 24. In his spare time, the Sherpa guide leads visitrs t the area's ther high peaks, such as K­2, Ch­Oyu, Manaslu, and Lhtse. Thugh the mst accmplished, Mr. Rita is nt the nly climber in the family.
