The week befre, she had sht a rattlesnake and chpped ff its head with a shvel. She was the prud wner f the new minivan (小型货车) she was driving. In ther wrds, she was nt yur nrmal kind f granny.
The carjacker leaned int the pen windw, ne hand stuffed in his pcket, and said, “Get ut f this car. I have a gun, and I will sht yu.” A statement like that wuld have terrified anyne else. Instead, Granny saw it as a challenge. “If yu really had a gun in yur pcket, yu wuld've pulled it ut and led with that first,” she shuted at him, apparently unwrried.
She was right. The criminal didn't have a gun. He instead reached int the windw, grabbed her, and tried t pull her ut f the van. He pulled pen the dr, wildly catching Granny's arms. 例题
S it was a great hnur t be invited backstage at the ntfrprfit Panda Base, where ticket mney helps pay fr research, I ________ (allw)t get up clse t these cute animals at the 600acre centre.
步骤
①
was allwed 上下文叙述的是过去的事情,使用的是一般过去时,如was(where定语从句中叙述的是一般事实,故用的是一般现在时,应该排除干扰。),所填词也应用一般过去时。又因为主语I与谓语动词allw之间是被动关系,故应用一般过去时的被动语态。主语是I,be动词用was
