What was wrse, the playgrund in this neighburhd was nthing like the ne in his previus neighburhd; the swings were all brken, the mnkey bars were all rusted and grimy (肮脏的), and the seesaw (跷跷板) nly had ne seat. There weren't even any bkshps nearby where he culd spend his free time, flipping thrugh his favurite cmic bks and nvels.
That day, Arshad and his brther were terribly bred when their father decided t take them all ut fr windwshpping. When his father saw the sad lk n Arshad's face, he sat dwn next t him and said in a slemn (严肃的) tne, “Remember, there are children ut there wh dn't even have the things yu d, like warm clthes, a rf ver their heads, gd educatin and all the delicius meals that yur mther prepares fr yu, three times a day.Yu shuld always be grateful fr what yu have.”
After the trip t the mall, Arshad's father decided t take his tw bys t a gvernment schl in their neighburhd. The children in the schl barely had chairs in their classrms.Instead, they sat n rugged carpets draped (覆盖) ver a hard, stne flr.Three r fur children shared trn, secndhand bks amngst themselves. The playgrund didn't even have any swings and there was nt even a cafeteria!
