(1)when为疑问副词,意为“什么时候;何时”,用来询问时间。可对年、月、日及具体时刻进行提问,也可询问某一动作发生的时间。eg:—When d yu want t g t the park? 你们想什么时候去公园? —Tmrrw mrning.明天上午。 —When des the first class begin? 第一节课什么时间开始? —At 8:30.在八点半。(2)what time意为“几点钟”,用来询问具体的时间。 “What time is it?”相当于“What's the time?”。eg:—What time d yu get up? 你几点起床? —At six.六点。
3.when还表示“当……的时候”,而what time无此意思。 eg:I was reading a bk when my mther gt hme. 妈妈到家时我在读书。4.what time用来对某个时间提问,希望知道的时间比when更具体。eg:—What time d yu get up in the mrning? 你早上几点起床? —Abut six.大约6点。 —What time des the shp pen?这个商店几点开门? — At a quarter t nine. 8:45.

直接询问对方年龄常用 Hw ld are yu?= What’s ne’s age? 回答为“I'm+基数词(+years ld).”其中years ld可以省略;询问他人年龄用Hw ld is she/he/yur...? 回答为“+基数词(+years ld).”。但在西方国家个人年龄是隐私,询问别人的年龄被认为是不礼貌的。

hw much意为“多少钱”,以其开头的特殊疑问句可用来询问物品的价格。 常用结构为“Hw much+is/are+主语?” 回答时可用“It's / They're+钱数.”。询问价格还可用“What is the price f...?”【注意】无论被询问的物品是不可数名词、可数名词单数还是可数名词复数,be动词都用is,不能用are。 其答语为“It's+价格.”,意为“价格是……”。 eg:—Hw much is the desk? = —What is the price f the desk? 这张桌子多少钱? —It's 130 yuan. = —It's 130 yuan. 130元。 —Hw much are these bks?=—What is the price f these bks?这些书多少钱? —They are 20 yuan. = —It's 20 yuan. 20元。

【拓展】hw much也可用来询问不可数名词的数量,意为“多少”。 hw many用来询问可数名词数量,其后接复数名词。 eg:Hw much ygurt d yu need? 你需要多少酸奶? Hw many classes d yu have every day?你每天有多少节课?
【拓展】1.英美等西方国家的货币单位像dllar(美元)、cent (美分)、pund(英镑)、penny(便士)、shilling(先令)等有单复数变化。 2.我国的货币单位元(yuan)、角(jia)、分(fen)单复数一样。 3. 表示货币等度量衡单位的词在作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。 eg: 100 dllars is quite a lt f mney fr him. 100美元对他来说是相当多的钱。
