展开《高中英语(上外版)》必修第二册 Unit 2 Animals课时:第 7 课时 课题:Exploring animal establishments课型:Further Exploration and Self-Assessment一、教学设计与说明教学目标课为本单元的第 7 课时,核心目标为通过小组合作和研究性学习,能够介绍世界各地一些喂养、展示、保护动物的机构或组织。并能在探究中培养“主动学习”和“合作学习”的能力和意识。设计思路该板块含有三个任务,一是课前让学习小组提前上网搜寻本小组感兴趣的动物园、海洋馆、野生动物园或者动物保护组织的先关信息和图片。二是小组分工合作,参照教材内给出的长风海洋世界的模板并根据所收集的信息填写介绍该组织的提纲表格,以此来熟悉制作动物组织海报所必须包括的五个因素:Name;Where it is;What animal species can be found; How the animals are treated 。三是小组根据之前网上整合的资料和图片,现场制作海报并进行彩排。最后根据check list 和本小组的海报制作和介绍评出海报制作最优小组。本节课中学生需要当堂完成海报制作,文中所包含的相关信息可能描写不够准确和详实,因而学生可在课后继续查阅资料完善海报内容并依据口头表达的评价量表进行演讲彩排,提高口语表达能力。重点难点海报制作的布局;得体有效的进行海报介绍。Lesson PlanBy the end of this period, students will be able to:understand how to make a poster and know basic elements of a poster by a given sample;can surfer the Internet and do research about the animal establishments which they are most interested in ;Can introduce their poster and vote for the “best presenter”based on the checklist*Teacher: Lead students to appreciate pictures of animal establishment and guess what an animal establishment is.*Students: Appreciate the pictures and make a list of different kinds of animal establishments.Purpose: To introduce different kinds of animal establishments and arouse students interest.Warm-upGuided questions:Do you know some kinds of animal establishment around the world?Can you give me some examples ?Why did people establish these animal establishments?*Teacher: Provide students with a passage about an animal establishment and ask them to complete the table with relevant information in the passage.*Students: Fill in the table with the information they have collected about their favorite establishment.Purpose: To let students be clear about their writing purpose and prepare them for the next stage .Complete the tableGuided questions:What are the basic elements if you want to make a poster to introduce an animal establishment?Please fill in the table with the information you have collected.*Teacher: Have students read the example and discuss the basic elements of a poster.Then call on some to introduce their research findings using their posters .Remind them to pay attention to the fluency of their presentation.*Students: Finish their poster and introduce their poster .Purpose: To give students a basic idea of the basic elements of a poster and provide 1 sample for students to imitate.Making a poster and giving a presentationGuided questions:What are the basic elements of making an animal establishment poster?How to make a poster to introduce an animal establishment?Can your introduce your poster to the classmates?*Teacher: Ask “audience”to listen carefully and go through the following checklist while they are listening to each presentation.Then have them vote for the “Best Present” based on the checklists.*Students: Vote for the “Best Poster” based on the title,clarity and relevance of graphics,labels,etc.Purpose: To introduce the speaking strategy to students and inform them of the importance of speaking speed and body language when delivering a speech.Voting for the “Best Presenter” Guided questions:Which team is the “Best Poster ” based on the Presentation Checklist?Presentation ChecklistGradesContentOrganisationUse of new words and phrasesUse of grammarFluencyVery GoodSatisfactoryNeeds ImprovementWhat’s your comment of the girl’s speech?What does the girl in the video do in the beginning?
