展开《高中英语(上外版)》必修第一册 Unit 2 Animals课时:第 4 课时 课型:Listening and Viewing 一、教学设计与说明 1. 教学目标 本课为本单元的第 4 课时,核心目标为帮助学生能根据广播短节目语篇的情景语境,获取主要事实与信息,了解动物目前的不利处境,认识到动物对人类生活的重要性,并增强对动物的保护意识。 2. 设计思路 首先,通过教材中的图片引起学生共鸣,让学生分享自己养宠物的经历。之后,基于听力材料,通过连线、填表和探究思考等活动,对涉及到的担忧和解决问题的措施进行梳理,从而使学生更好地理解语篇的大意和细节。接着,教师询问学生和自己宠物的特殊经历,从而引出视听环节。通过预测及回答问题,帮助学生掌握多模态资源所传达的关键信息,同时引导学生对宠物英雄行为的描述和称颂。本课作业为学生写下和宠物发生过的特别的经历并转成语音分享。 3. 重点及难点 能培养良好的视听习惯,如预测、听中记等,从而更好地获取语篇的重要信息;能复述内容大意并分享自己与动物和谐共处的故事。 Lesson PlanAt the end of the period, students will be able to:grasp the main idea and details from radio program concerning the speaker’s activities with his particular period of life;can share the description and praise of animal behavior conveyed by multimodal resources;recognize the importance of animals to human life, and enhance the awareness of animal protection.Procedures:Warm-upT: Ask students to look at the pictures on text page 26 and talk about their experience of keeping a pet and what’s attitude towards it.Ss: View the pictures and share their experience and opinionsPurpose: To prepare students for the topic and arouse students’ interest.Interactive task 1: initiate the topicGuided questions/Instructions:Have you kept any pets? What’s your attitude towards keeping a pet?ListeningT: Ask students to listen to the radio program and do activity II. Remind them to pay attention to the different life periods mentioned in the audio.Ss: Listen carefully and match the answers.Purpose: To help students grasp the basic information of the listening material.Interactive task 2: listen for the main ideaGuided questions/Instructions:What did the speaker do with animals in different life periods?T: Have students listen to the radio again. Ask them to answer the questions and fill in the blanks. Remind students to read the questions and make predictions first if necessary.Ss: Listen carefully and take notes. Answer the questions and fill in the blanks.Purpose: To let students know the concerns and solutions; to help students understand the information conveyed by the listening material.Interactive task 3: listen for the details & dig inGuided questions/Instructions:What are the speaker’s concerns about animals?What should we do to solve the problem?What do you think we can do to solve the problem mentioned by the speaker?ViewingT: Have students brainstorm the reasons why an animal might be called a hero.
