1. Mari, yu used t be shrt, didn’t yu? (p25-1a)
【剖析】
本句是used t d的反义疑问句, used t d“过去常常做某事”,其反义疑问形式有两种:usedn’t sb? / didn’t sb?
基本用法:
反义疑问句的特点是:前肯后否,前否后肯。而且附加疑问句的动词在时态、人称、数等方面必须与前半句的动词相呼应。
Mary is very lazy, isn’t she?
They were nt late fr the meeting, were they?
反义疑问句的回答要根据实际情况作答,与疑问句本身的肯定还是否定没有关系。也就是说对反意疑问句的回答,不管问题的提法如何,如果事实是肯定的,就要用yes,事实是否定的,就要用n。
--He is gd at English, isn’t he? --Yes, he is.
--They dn’t g t Shanghai, d they? --N, they dn’t. (是的,他们不去)
如果陈述部分带有一些不易察觉的否定意思的词如:little, nthing, few, seldm, hardly等,附加疑问句要用肯定形式。

反义疑问句的常考句型:
There is a bk n the desk, isn’t there?
T see is t believe, isn’t it?
I dn’t think he can swim, can he?

祈使句的反意疑问句,一般在句末用will yu,而以let’s开头的祈使句,其附加疑问句部分用shall we。

【剖析】
It has been +一段时间+since+从句=it’s+一段时间+since+从句
意为:自从…以来已经有多长时间了。

= It is five years since I began t learn English.
【剖析】
since是连词,意为“自从,自…以来”。可引导时间状语从句。从句的时态是一般过去时,主句是现在完成时。

【剖析】
dare 此处用作及物动词,意为“敢于;胆敢”。常构成短语dare t d sth.意为 “敢于做某事”。

【剖析】
dare用在疑问、否定、条件句中可作情态动词,无人称变化。后跟动词原形。

一、used t的用法
1. used t是一个固定结构,它的意思是“过去经常、以前常常”,它的后面用动词原形,used t + d sth.
它表示过去存在某种状态或者过去的某种经常性、习惯性的行为或者动作,并意味着这种动作目前已经不存在,所以它只能用一般过去时,不能用现在时态。
Scarf used t take a walk after dinner.
My father used t read newspapers after breakfast.
He used t be a very pr man.
2. used t的否定句式
A)主语+did nt use t +动词原形
He did nt use t swim in that river, but he swims here nw.
B)主语+used nt t +动词原形
He usedn’t t swim in that river, but he swims here nw.
第一种否定句型,就是把used当作实义动词来看,所以变否定句要用助动词did;第二种否定句是把used当作情态动词,变否定句直接在used后面加nt即可,used nt 可以缩写成usedn’t或usen’t。美式英语通常用A种形式,英式英语常用B种形式。
3. 疑问句式
A) Did +主语 +use t +动词原形...?
B) Used +主语+ t +动词原形...?美式英语通常用A种形式,英式英语用B种形式。

4. used t 的反义疑问句
主语+used t d sth, didn’t +主语?/used nt+主语?

1. be/get used t + sth./ding sth. : 对……已感到习惯,或“习惯于”,t是介词,后需加名词或动名词
I am used t eating lunch at 11:30 p.m. = I get used t eating lunch at 11:30 p.m.
The teacher is used t ging t bed late in the evening.
2. be used t d/fr (ding) sth : 被用来做某事
Bamb can be used t make /fr making chairs.
