    【剖析】
    as far as是个固定的表达方式,“(表示程度和范围)就...;至于”
    as far as I knw 还可以说s far as I knw,“据我所知”
    As far as I knw, Jack’s gt twin sisters.
    He wn’t cme tday, as far as I knw.
    as far as还可以表示“与...一样远;直到...(否定句可以用s far as)”
    We walked as far as the river.
    3) 句中plant 是名词“植物”,tea plants are grwn n 是个被动语态的句子。
    【剖析】
    英语中prduce, plant, grwn 三个词均有“种植,生产,生长”的意思。
    1) prduce 主要意思是“生产,制造,产出” 常指产量化的生产出;
    2) grw 意思是“生长,种植”;
    3) plant 意思是“栽种,播种”,把种子或苗子种在土壤中。

    【剖析】
    1) N matter what 意思是“无论...,不管...”引导让步状语从句。N matter +特殊疑问词(wh, what, when, whm, where, hw)或if, whether。

    2) might 意思“可能”猜测语气。
    【剖析】
    1) n matter +特殊疑问词=特殊疑问词+ever(引导让步状语从句时)
    N matter when yu cme, I must treat yu nicely. =_______________, I must treat yu nicely.
    N matter what happened, he wuld nt mind. =_________________, he wuld nt mind.
    但它们的区别主要是whatever/ whenever/ whever/hwever...除了引导让步状语从句之外,还可以引导宾语从句和主语从句,但N matter what/ when...只能引导让步状语从句。

    被动语态
    1. 概念:表示谓语动词与主语之间是被动关系。(主动语态句子中谓语动词的宾语变成主语就是被动语态)
    2. 主动语态与被动语态之间如何转换
    We visited that factry last summer主动语态
    主语 谓语 宾语 状语
    That factry was visited by us last summer被动语态
    主语 谓语 宾语 状语

    3. 被动语态的构成:
    总结构式:be dne,助动词be+谓语动词的过去分词(be有人称、数和时态的变化,dne不变)
    1) 一般现在时:is /am /are + 过去分词
    Tea is grwn in Sutheast China.
    Are they made in China?
    2) 一般过去时:was / were + 过去分词
    A lt f flwers were planted alng the street last mnth.
    3) 现在进行时:is / am /are + being + 过去分词
    A new bridge is being built ver there.
    The flwers are being watered by Mr. Li nw.
    4) 现在完成时:have / has + been + 过去分词
    Man-made satellites have been sent up int space by many cuntries in the wrld.
    5) 一般将来时:will /shall/be ging t + be + 过去分词
    The class meeting will be held next Saturday afternn.
    6) 含有情态动词的被动语态:can /may /must +be 过去分词
    The wrk can be finished in a mnth.

    4. 主动语态变被动语态步骤
    1) 主动结构的宾语变为被动结构的主语。(宾语是人称代词时,要将宾格变为主格)
    2) 主动结构的谓语动词由主动语态变为被动语态。
    3) 主动结构的主语变为介词by的宾语,组成介词短语,放在被动结构中谓语动词之后,在动作的执行者无须说明或不必强调时,by短语可以省略。

    5. 主动语态变被动语态的注意事项
    1) 主动语态变为被动语态,时态要保持一致。
    We repaired the mtr. → The mtr was repaired by us.
    2) 动作的承受者是谈话的中心,并用介词by引导动作的执行者。
    The rm is cleaned by me every day.
    The thief was caught by a pliceman yesterday evening.
    3) 一些相当于及物动词的短语动词也可用于被动结构中,因此短语动词是一个不可分割的词组,不可丢掉后面的介词或副词。
    The child is taken gd care f by his grandparents.
    Why can’t the wrd be lked up in this dictinary?

    4) 带双宾语(即直接宾语和间接宾语)的主动语态变为被动语态时,可将其中的一个宾语变为被动句的主语,另一个不变。如果把直接宾语变为被动句的主语,则要在间接宾语前加介词(一般是fr或t)
    He gave me a bk. →I was given a bk (by him). →A bk was given t me (by him).
    Jack tells us the truth. →We are tld the truth by Jack. →The truth is tld by us by Jack.
    5) 主动句中动词make, let, see, hear等后接不定式作宾语补足语时,动词不定式都需去掉t,即后接不带的动词不定式。但变为被动语态时,后面的不定式须加上t .
    I ften hear her sing.→ She is ften heard t sing.
    His parents made him clean his teeth after every meal. →He was made t clean his teeth after every meal by his parents.
    6) 有些被动语态结构成了习惯用法。
    It is said that…据说……
    It is (was) reprted that…据报道……
    It is well-knwn that…众所周知……
    6. 不用被动语态的情况
    1) 有些动词(happen, cst, take place, have)的主动语态表被动含义。
    Great changes have taken place in ur cuntry since 1979.
    What happened yesterday?
    2) need, require, want当“需要”讲时,后加动名词,用主动形式表示被动意义,也可用动词不定式表示被动意义。
    This desk needs repairing/ t be repaired.
    3) 系动词lk, smell, sund, feel, taste不用被动。
    The flwers smell very gd.
    Yur skirt feels very sft.
    4) 如果动词和well一起表示主语用起来、工作起来好的物体本性,常用主动语态。
    The pen writes very well.
    The machine wrks well.
    This bk sells well.
