动词ing 形式 --- 作主语和宾语
意义:-ing作主语表示抽象性的、概念性的动作, 可以是多次的、经常性的行为。 习惯上常用ding和being dne 作主语。 -ing形式作主语,通常直接置于句首。谓语动词用单数形式。
例如句型: It is/was n use /gd ding sth. It is/was n fun/pleasure ding sth. It is/was f little use/gd ding sth.
1. -ing frm used as subjects
动词 -ing 形式的否定形式是在其前面加 nt,带有逻辑主语时 nt 应在动词 -ing 形式之前。 e.g. Yur schlmate’s nt cming hme in time made her parents wrried.
动词 -ing 形式作主语时常后置,用 it 作形式主语,用形容词或名词作表语。常见的作表语的名词或短语有:n use, n gd, fun, hard wrk, a hard / difficult jb, a wnder, a waste f time 等。
用it作形式主语前置时,句子侧重于表语部分,强调行为的特征、状态或给人的感受。 动词-ing形式作主语前置时,句子侧重于主语部分,强调行为本身的具体内容。
