Students’ Vluntary Wrk in a Cmmunity
Last Saturday witnessed a vluntary activity rganized by the Students’ Unin in the nearby cmmunity themed at “Step int the Cmmunity, Serve Everyne”, which was well received by the neighbrhd.
The event was filled with meaningful activities. The vluntary wrk started frm nine ’clck, lasting fr three hurs. Upn ur arrival at the lcal cmmunity center, we began t cnduct different tasks. Nt nly did we clean public spaces, but als we assisted the elderly with their daily tasks. Additinally, we rganized a health awareness campaign, educating residents n healthy living habits.
All the students invlved participated with great enthusiasm. I deeply realized the significance f cmmunity engagement and the fulfillment vluntary wrk brings.

Nw that Del had frgiven me, I decided t d mre befre the recess was ver. I walked twards the kickball players and called fr their attentin. Everyne stpped in surprise. “Del didn’t beat up anyne,” I stated, explaining what actually happened. Whispers f astnishment spread and finally ne player shuted, “Alright, Del, d yu want t jin my team?” A smile brke thrugh Del’s glmy face, “Yes, and I want Jamie n it, t!” He glanced at me shyly, and I culd tell his use f my real name was his way f making an aplgy. Sn the playgrund was filled with laughter and talks. But this time they made me realize smething — wrds have the pwer t hurt and heal.

Everyne, including Del, was surprised. “Guys, I am srry, but I gt smething t say.” I admitted that it was I wh started the rumr. “Del didn’t beat up anyne,” I said. Upn hearing this, the players were cnfused fr a brief mment but sn figured ut what had really happened. “Hey, welcme back,”They waved t Del. Del ndded willingly, with a happy lk back t his face. Seeing Del playing the game vigrusly, I finally felt relieved that I eventually mended a big mistake.

The warmth f the lcals and an energetic village festival added t Jeju’s appeal, shwcasing the island’s rich cultural traditins.
⑱The Republic f Krea was a mixture f Seul’s energetic urban life and Jeju’s quiet natural retreats, ⑳making it an ideal destinatin fr anyne seeking variety in their travels.
