What:
本单元围绕“结交新朋友”这一主题展开。
开篇页的主题图展现了学生熟悉的校园场景:在教学楼的走廊里,学生三三两两地交流,一位女生正大方地向同学介绍自己的朋友。 Lk and share部分的三个问题与主题图紧密相关,主要为了引导学生观察主题图,从人物身份、画面场景、人物情感三个维度分析其内容要素,进而自然过渡到本单元的主题内容学习中。开篇页呈现了本单元的大问题“Hw d we make new friends?”, 其目的是引领学生思考在新的校园环境里如何结交朋友,从而进入主题探究。开篇页还列举了本单元的主要学习内容,包括学会用英语介绍自己和他人,用含有系动词 be的一般现在时讨论个人信息,制作个人简介,探究结交新朋友的意义等内容。
听力文本包含两个对话,分别呈现了初中新生入学后在新校园里认识老师和新同学的不同场景。第一个对话发生在学生之间: Peter与Sng Meimei在校园初次见面, Meimei主动向 Peter打招呼,两人进行自我介绍并询问彼此信息,最后发现是同班同学。第二个对话呈现了Ella在校园里遇见校长Ms Li的场景: 由于 Ella有一个双胞胎姐姐Emma, Ms Li打招呼时以为遇到的是Emma。Ella表明身份后,校长询问了她的姓氏和年龄信息。
Why:
开篇页给学生提供了交流的语用环境,主要是为了让学生学会观察主题图,识别信息,初步感知单元主题,明确单元学习任务;在1b,1c听力对话的两个语篇中,让学生能够听懂对话并判断人物关系,并获取主要人物的个人信息;在1d活动中,让学生运用对话中的相关语言得体与他人问候,询问并回答个人基本信息。本课的主题意义在于让学生在本班内主动结识新朋友,建立良好的人际关系。
Hw:
1a—1d是一个完整的听说任务链,其中1a是听前活动,lb—1c是听中活动,1d是听后活动。活动1a帮助学生回顾过渡单元中打招呼的表达用语,并预先呈现了听力文本中的新句式,如“ Hw ld are yu?”“ Where are yu frm?”“ What class are yu in?”, 这是为接下来的听作准备。活动1b要求学生依据所听内容排列图片的顺序,引导学生关注对话中人物的身份及对话语境。活动1c主要训练学生获取细节信息的能力, 这一活动提供了选项让学生圈选, 主要是为了降低起始年级听力活动的难度。听后活动1d鼓励学生主动结识更多新朋友并记住他们的名字。此处展示的对话范例旨在引导学生模仿听力对话,灵活运用打招呼、询问和确认信息等不同句式进行交流。
