【知识梳理】
一、不定式概述
1.不定式的定义
动词不定式与动词-ing形式、过去分词一样,是动词的非谓语形式。它与动词原形同行,但它的前面一般要带有一个不定式的符号“t”,我们为了把这个“t”与介词“t”区别开来,叫它小品词。动词不定式存在不带t的情况。
2.不定式的形式
不定式的形式有六种(以动词give为例):

动词不定式可以作除了谓语外其他任何句子成分,包括主语、宾语、表语、状语、定语和宾语补足语。它可以在句子中起名词、形容词和副词的作用。
不定式作状语的用法
不定式在句子中的作用有时和副词相同,可以作状语,表示原因、目的、结果。另外,不定式也可以修饰形容词。不定式紧跟在及物动词之后,作宾语;不定式紧跟在不及物动词之后,则作状语。
1.不定式作副词表示原因
1.修饰表示感情的形容词
不定式可以在表示感情的形容词后面来修饰该形容词,表示原因。

2.修饰表示感情以外的形容词
下列形容词常用于这类结构中,且这类句子的主语可以是人,也可以是物。

2.不定式作副词表示目的
不定式在句子中作状语表示目的的情况很多、很常见,主要有以下几种情形。

B.不定式置于句首
有时为加强语气,可把作目的状语的不定式提到句首来。

比较:in rder t d sth.和s as t d sth.的区别
in rder t引出的目的状语既可以放在句首又可以放在句尾。s as t引出的目的状语不能放在句首。

s as t除了表目的,也可表结果、程度,即“ t+d”。

Wnderful sngs, genuinely emtinal perfrmances, and a stellar cast elevate this ppcrn musical far abve average. Zac Efrn and Zendaya shine in their rles, and Hugh Jackman successfully carries the lead. We dn't spend much time with each character. Hwever, the lack f depth is made up fr by the inventive and surprising sngwriting and the heartfelt perfrmances frm the cast. Certainly wrth a watch if yu lve musicals there's a lt fr yu here.

I'm ging t start n a psitive nte-- the music was abslutely terrific. As I'm writing this, I'm actually listening t the sundtrack. But verall, I’m severely disappinted in the film. P. T. Bamum's stry is truly fascinating, but the plt f The Greatest Shwman was s ver dramatized, and rmanticized that I find myself dubting whether any part f the plt was based n real events (except the actual circus). The plt was all ver the place, trying t be t many things.

OK, with all the big cast and great filmmakers behind, everyne is expecting it t be a masterpiece. Guess what... it's nt. I wasn't expecting much either. Especially when the critics are beating the drums f negativity all ver the lntemet. I agree there are flaws in this film. ln sme scenes yu d ntice there is cliché (MEW‘MW) and kind f typical drama that culd have been made in a different way but believe me when I say this. This is that kind f film which will evke that uplifting feeling that makes yu happy, ptimistic and think abut yurself at the same time. I prmise, befre watching the film I was ttally different, static, bring and in a very lw state I feel like this film actually regenerated my internal energy. The music is a treat. I am definitely watching it again sn.

As usual, the critics fail t grasp the bvius. Des the mvie entertain? Yes. it des. Abslutely.
Sure, it may nt match the real stry, and many things are nt based in reality, but that's the pint! it's a mvie! it is a fun musical, very well dne and pleasing t the ear. Musicals are a rare breed.
Enjy them while yu can.
