    David Smith is a student, and ne f his hbbies is writing. During the summer f 2010, he spent fur weeks at a summer camp. As well as the usual activities, such as sailing and climbing, there was a writing class. “ The teacher was a writer, and she asked us t talk abut ur lives and tell interesting stries. Then she encuraged us t write abut ur experiences at the camp.” Back at schl, David wrte a stry abut the life f a sixteen-year-ld by, and it came ut as a bk in 2012. Many yung peple lve his bk, and as a result, David has becme a successful yung writer. David has been very lucky because his hbby has brught him pleasure and success. But writing is nt his nly hbby. He is als interested in many ther things. “ I like playing vlleyball t,” says David. “I spend sme f my free time playing vlleyball fr my schl team. Maybe I’ll write abut my vlleyball team in my future bks.”
