The fur Minnetnka High Schl students arrived in Ely fr training the day befre they began the jurney. They set ut the next day at 7 am,quickly develping a rutine.
“We were dne paddling by nn,” Julia said. “We ate lunch at the campsites and then it was time fr hammcks(吊床),reading,making friendship bracelets(手链)and talking.”
The girls all had sme experience in the utdrs befre. Anna had been t the bundary waters with her family. “I lve hw yu are separated frm everything in yur life, especially technlgy,” Anna said. Withut her phne, she said, “I’m less wrried abut things.” Madeline, t, had been t the Bundary Waters a few years back. “But this time, I had t paddle right and set up camp,” she said. The girls made fire and cked meal tgether. N ne was ever hungry r hmesick, but they were nervus the final night as they waited ut a thunderstrm. They left wet sleeping bags in ne tent, and squeezed int anther fr the night. “Every thunderstrm in the Bundary Waters feels huge.” Julia said.
On the car ride hme, they were all n their phnes catching up with friends. “It was a little at a lss turning my phne n,” said Anna. “Mental health can be imprved s much in the Bundary Waters. It really helps t get away and recnnect with yurself.”

The specially-created waterprf headsets can be wrn in water up t a few metres deep,withut harming the delicate Samsung Galaxy S8 mbile devices that run the custmer’s sftware fr the VR experiences. The biggest challenge the cmpany faced hwever,was prviding a suitable VR experience fr everyne.
