    W: Hell, David. D yu knw anything abut the strms last night?
    M : Of curse. The western part f the city was hit by several strms last night. It caused serius damage and at least tw hundred hmes had their water and pwer cut ff. Scres f families were left hmeless fr the rfs f their huses were blwn away.
    The scenes f destructin can be seen everywhere. In Main Street, the car park was flded cmpletely. We can still see cars that have been badly damaged by fldwater. Sme cars were carried acrss the parking area and dumped int strm-water drains. It’s terrible. In White Street, sme big trees were uprted and smashed int parked cars. I think it has caused a lt f prblems fr the insurance cmpany. They have t pay thusands f dllars fr the lss. It’s recrded that the speed f the winds reached eighty kilmeters per hur. Wrse still, in Green Street, a tree fell n a bus which was taking sme basketball players t a game. Luckily, n ne in the bus was hurt.
    As fr tmrrw, it’s reprted the weather cnditin will be imprved. Clear skies can be expected.
