[What]本节课为听说课,学习语篇为两个学生就自身存在的问题向专家求教的对话。首先听前讨论坏习惯形成的诱因,然后听录音获取对话中两个学生存在的问题及专家的分析,接着填写表格和回答问题,获取听力材料中的具体信息,最后采用小组合作的形式陈述自己的问题并接受或拒绝别人的建议,内化语言,深化对主题的理解。
[Why]通过听力和口语活动,获取请求和提供﹑接受和拒绝建议的习惯用语和常用句型,并让学生讨论自己的坏习惯,并彼此提出合理建议,有助于学生的健康成长。
[Hw]将英语语用目标和本单元的主题语境结合起来,设置听说活动,让学生在主题语境的探索中提高英语运用能力,深入对主题的探究。

1. Brainstrm.
Befre listening, ask students t discuss the fllwing questins with their partners.
•What is a healthy lifestyle?
•What bad habits d yu think cncern yung peple ethe mst? Make a list f gd habits f a healthy lifestyle. Then give yur reasns why yu think they are imprtant.
Suggested answers:
•A healthy lifestyle is mre than just diet and exercise. It’s nt just abut being physically fit and free frm any health abnrmalities but als having a happy and well-balanced physical, mental, and scial life.
•They might be smking, drinking alchl, playing smart phne r games t much, versleeping, eating t much junk fd, nt sleeping enugh and s n.(略)
2. Discuss.
Ask students t lk at the pictures n Page 18 and. discuss the fllwing questin.
•What chices r preferences make it easier fr peple t develp these bad habits?
Suggested answers:
①Chsing t stay up t late playing cmputer games can mean that ne des nt sleep enugh.
②Preferring t play games r use scial media n phnes can make it easier fr peple t use them t much.
③Chsing t eat when ne feels bred r depressed can lead t vereating.
④Chsing t buy many things ne wants and nt things ne needs can lead t verspending.
⑤Staying up t late and nt sleeping enugh can lead ne t drink t much cffee the next day.

•A gd night’s sleep is imprtant because it will help with their schlwrk.
•Because he always picks up his phne instead f exercising.
•The expert drinks t much cffee. It can be a health prblem because t much is bad fr the heart and can cause headache and ther prblems.
•I wuld suggest that the expert change the habit slwly by drinking smaller cups f weaker cffee, and then try t change cffee fr anther drink. Later he shuld d mre exercise as this can stimulate the bdy like cffee des but has mre psitive benefits.
