There is a special plant that appears t make cats happy—catnip. When cats smell catnip, they rub their heads against it, rll arund and lk very happy. Smetimes they als becme playful. The result suggests that cats respnd nt nly t nepetalactne, the cat-attracting cmpund in catnip, but als t nine ther chemical cmpunds, and the jyful respnse nly happens when they smell enugh f the cmpunds in plants.
