Neurscientist (神经科学家) Michael Scullin frm Baylr University and his cwrkers used surveys f 199 peple, as well as a sleep lab test invlving 50 vlunteers, t measure (衡量) the influence f listening t music befre bedtime n sleep.
In the survey part f the study, thse wh regularly listened t music during the day were mre likely t reprt lasting nighttime earwrms, which then had a bad effect n sleep quality thrugh the night. These new fully implantable (可植入的) ptgenetic devices can enable mre cmplex research. Specifically, the researchers can adjust each device’s prgramming during the prcess f experiment. “S yu can target what an animal des in a much mre cmplex way,” says Genia Kzrvitskiy, a researcher at Nrthwestern University.
These devices are battery-free, wirelessly pwered by the same high-frequency radi waves used t cntrl the kinds, duratin and timing f the light pulses (光脉冲).
