Hw t Keep Scre in a Game f Table Tennis
导读：
乒乓球，英语官方名称是“table tennis”，即“桌上网球”。乒乓球因其打击时发出“Ping Pang”的声音而得名。乒乓球是一种世界流行的球类体育项目，包括进攻、对抗和防守。比赛分团体、单打、双打、混双等数种；2001年9月1日前以21分为一局，现以11分为一局；采用五局三胜，七局四胜。
乒乓球是我国的国球。中国在乒乓球历史上占有很高的地位，20世纪60年代以来，中国选手取得世界乒乓球比赛的大部分冠军，甚至多次包揽整个赛事的所有冠军。
When yu are playing ping png, r table tennis, in yur hme, yu can make up yur wn rules and keep scre any way yu like. But when yu play in a cmpetitin that fllws the Internatinal Table Tennis Federatin rules and regulatins, yu need t knw the rules fr keeping scre crrectly. It is nt uncmmn fr matches in lcal cmpetitins t have n umpires, and the players must umpire and keep the scre themselves.
Befre the Match Starts
T prepare, get the match scre sheet and a pen r pencil. Dn’t wait until the end f the match t write dwn he scres, r yu may nt be able t remember them all. It als helps t check the scre sheet t make sure that yu have the crrect ppnent and are playing n the crrect able.
Next, check t see if a match is a best f five r seven games (these are the mst cmmn by far, althugh any dd number f games can be used). Nte n the scre sheet which player serves first.
Scre Rules
Each player gets t serve fr tw pints in a rw, and then the ther player has t serve. Yu are nt allwed t give the serve away and chse t receive all the time, even if bth players agree.
When serving, yu must fllw the rules fr a legal serve, and hit the ball s that it tuches yur side f the table nce, then bunces ver r arund the net, and then tuches yur ppnent's side f the table. There is n limit n hw many lets yu can serve in a rw.
Returning the Ball
If yu are playing dubles, yu must serve the ball diagnally s that it bunces first in the right half f yur side f the table, ges ver r arund the net, and then bunces in the right half f yur ppnents’ side f the table.
Yur ppnent then attempts t return the ball ver r arund the net s that it bunces first n yur side f the table. If he cannt, yu win the pint. If he des, yu must hit the ball ver r arund the net s that it bunces first n his side f the table. If yu cannt, he wins the pint. Play cntinues in this manner until either yu r yur ppnent cannt return the ball legally, in which case the ther player wins the pint.
In dubles, each f the players takes turns hitting the ball. The server hits the ball first, then the receiver, then the server’s partner, then the receiver’s partner, and then the server again. If a player hits the ball when it is nt his turn, his team lses the pint.
Winning in Pingpng
The first player r team t reach 11 pints with a lead f at least tw pints is the winner. If bth players r teams reach 10, then the game is wn by the first player r team t get tw pints ahead. Als, if the match reaches a scre f 10-all, bth players r teams serve nly ne serve each until the game is wn. The scre is called ut with the server’s scre first.
Pint Values
If yu d frget wh is suppsed t be serving in the middle f a game, an easy way t find ut is t lk at the scre sheet and see wh served first in that game. Then cunt up in tws (tw pints per server) until yu reach the current game scre.
The winner is the first player r team t win mre than half f the maximum pssible games. Once a player r team has dne this, the match is ver and the remaining games are nt played.
