形容词的含义
形容词是用来修饰名词的词，在句中作定语、表语、宾语补足语。
She is a beautiful girl. 她是个漂亮的女孩。
The apple is big and rund. 这个苹果又大又圆。
Have yu gt everything ready fr the meeting? 你为这次会议做好准备了吗?
形容词的用法
(1) 形容词+名词
She is a gd student.她是一个好学生。
It's a lng way. 这是一条很长的路。
I have a big nse. 我有一个大鼻子。
(2)系动词+形容词
①状态系动词 (be动词) + 形容词
This bike is expensive. 这辆自行车很贵。
I'm busy nw. 我现在很忙。
They are happy tgether. 他们在一起很开心
②持续系动词+形容词
He always keeps silent at meeting. 他开会时总保持沉默。
The shp stays pen till eight 'clck. 商店开到八点。
③表象系动词+形容词
He lks tired. 他看起来很累。
He seems (t be) very sad. 他看起来很伤心。
④感官系动词+形容词
The scarf feels very sft. 这条围巾手感很软。
This flwer smells nice. 这朵花闻起来很香。
⑤ 变化系动词+形容词
The leaves turn green. 叶子变绿了。
The egg becmes bigger. 鸡蛋变大了。
学习小贴士
在英语单词中smething，anything，nthing等不定代词被形容词修饰时，形容词放在不定代词后面。

Is there anything wrng with yu? 你有什么不对劲吗?
There is nthing dangerus here.这儿一点都不危险。
形容词作定语一般放在被修饰的名词之前。如果有两个或两个以上的形容词修饰一个名词时，则由它们和被修饰的名词之间的密切程度而定，越密切的形容词越靠近名词。
在小学阶段，我们可以记住一个口诀:
“大，形，新，色” 即 “大小>形状>新旧>颜色"如果再要记得具体一些，则可以记住以下规律 (按顺序)
a.描述特性的词语beautiful,wnderful...
b.尺寸的词语big，huge...
c.形状的词语 square,triangle...
d.描述年代的词语ld...
e.描述颜色的词语red...
f.描述国家的词语Chinese
g.描述材质 wden，silk...
形容词比较级
(1)一般句式的构成
A + is / are+ 形容词比较级+ than + B
A 是主格B 是宾格
如：She is taller than me.
主格+ be + 形容词比较级+ than + 宾格
(2) 形容词比较级的构成
A +is / are+ 形容词比较级+ than + B
A 是主格B 是宾格
如: She is taller than me.
主格+ be + 形容词比较级+ than + 宾格
形容词的比较级和最高级的变化规则
(1) 规则变化
不规则变化

【注】形容词最高级前一般要加the。
5. 形容词比较级的用法
(1) 在""句中:
He is taller than I (am). (口语中常用: He is taller than me. ) 他比我高。
He is tw heads taller than I(am). 他比我高出两个头
(2) 在"which..., "句中, 表示两者比较:
Which is bigger, the sun r the mn?太阳和月亮，哪一个更大?
(3) 比较级+and+比较级:
It's getting darker and darker. 天越来越黑了。
He is getting mre and mre interested in sprts. 他对体育越来越感兴趣。
(4) The mre..., the mre...,
The mre yu eat,the mre yu want. 你越吃越想要
(5) 形容词比较级前可由much,far,a lt,still,n,a little，even，any 修饰，表示超出的程度:
We have a much better life nw.
我们现在的日子好得多了。
The buildings lk far uglier in Lndn than here.
伦敦的建筑比这儿的难看得多。
This stry is even mre interesting than that ne. 这个故事比那个更有趣。
