Tw researchers frm Gergia Tech, Kantwn Rgers and Reiden Webber, designed a driving simulatin (模拟) experiment t explre hw intentinal rbt deceptin influences the trust between humans and AI, and whether different kinds f aplgies can help restre that trust.

When they reached the hspital, participants were infrmed that there were n plice, and they received ne f five different text-based respnses frm the rbt-three admitting the lie and tw ffering a simple aplgy withut admitting it. The study aimed t figure ut which type f aplgy was the mst effective in restring trust after the rbt's lie.
The results f the experiment were astnishing.45% f the participants did nt speed because they believed the rbt knew mre abut the situatin than they did, shwing an verly trusting attitude twards AI. The results als suggested that althugh nne f the aplgy types fully regained trust, the aplgy withut admitting the lie was statistically mre effective in restring trust than the ther respnses.
The researchers' final gal is t create a rbt system that can learn when and hw t lie r aplgize during human-AI interactins. But they admit that this is a cmplicated issue. “We still have very limited knwledge abut AI deceptin, but we d knw that lying isn't always bad, and telling the truth isn't always gd,” Rgers said. “S hw can we make laws that supprt new ideas withut causing harm, while als keeping peple safe?”

As the saying ges, practice makes perfect. “While it may sund like gd advice, it's nt the best r fastest path because practice can nly get yu s far”, says Sctt Yung, authr f Get Better al Anything: 12 Maxims fr Mastery.
“Practice is nt a cure-all,” Yung explains. “It desn't necessarily imprve yur skills but rather makes them mre autmatic and fluent.” In his bk, Yung clarifies this cncept with the game Tetris, where players fit falling blcks t cmplete lines. The mre yu practice, the faster and mre accurate yu becme at placing the blcks. Hwever, simply practicing desn't guarantee higher scres. By starting with the crrect techniques, beginners can grasp skills mre quickly. Withut established habits t break, they are mre likely t build a strng base fr lng-term imprvement.”
Malclm Gladwell ppularized the 10,000-hur rule in his bk Outliers: The Stry f Success, suggesting that prficiency in any field requires abut 10,000 hurs f practice. He stressed that learning frm utcmes thrugh crrective feedback is essential fr develping true prficiency, therwise yu just spend time getting fluency and cnfidence.
Getting high-quality feedback will depend n hw yu ask fr it. Simply asking smene, “What d yu think?” is nt enugh. “There's just n way in ur scial netwrk that smene culd give yu really harsh feedback and nt cause harm t the relatinship,” Yung says. Instead, he suggests asking, “If yu were ging t make this better, what wuld yu d?” By asking hw t imprve it, we shift the fcus frm judgment t practical steps fr addressing any cncerns.
32. What statement may Sctt Yung agree?
A. Achieving high scres requires cnsistent practice.
B. The key t reaching fluency is t practice regularly.
C. Success cannt be guaranteed by using crrect techniques.
D. Practice desn't necessarily cntribute t high prficiency.
33. What can be cncluded by the wrds f Yung in Paragraph 3?
A. The methds f breaking established habits in practice.
B. The imprtance f practise t frm gd habits.
C. The advantage f beginners in grasping crrect techniques.
D. The difficulty f experienced learners in mastering new skills.
34. What des Anders Ericssn advcate?
A. Practicing with effective guidance.B. Increasing the frequency f practice.
C. Enhancing the fluency f perfrmance.D. Building cnfidence frm gd feedback.
35. Which questin may help get high-quality feedback?
A. Is it gd r bad?B. D yu like it r nt?
C. What d yu think f it?D. What can I d t imprve it?
