1.答案: D
解析:在介绍“Children in Brazil”的部分,明确提到“Ftball is the mst ppular sprt.”,说明在巴西足球是最受欢迎的运动,所以选择D选项。
2.答案: B
解析:在“Children in France”这部分提到“The majrity f preschl (幼儿园) children attend day care centres knwn as creches.”,意思是大多数幼儿园的孩子会去被称作“creches”的日托中心,所以“creche”指的就是幼儿园孩子的日托中心,选择B选项。
3.答案: C
解析:在介绍“Children in Japan”时提到“Cmic bks have been ppular in Japan since the 1700s.
4.答案: A
解析:文中提到“I stpped the car near him and put the windw dwn t ask if he needed a ride.”

解析:从“After he gt settled in the car, my husband and I intrduced urselves, but he didn’t say a wrd. During the drive, we tried t make him mre cmfrtable with sme small talk.”
6.答案: B
解析:文中提到“When we pulled up utside his dr, the first thing he asked is ‘Hw much mney d yu want?’”,说明老人下车后首先想到的是要给作者夫妇车钱,也就是想为乘车付费,所以选择B选项。
7.答案: D
解析:文章最后提到“There is always smene wh needs smething — a dr held, a bag carried... the pprtunities are endless.”,强调总是有人需要帮助,做善事的机会是无穷无尽的,也就是总有做善事的机会,所以选择D选项。

32.答案:a ;cnfused ;challenges ;but ;fr ;it ;tried ;additin ;prepared ;being
④前文说“Chinese is hard t learn”(汉语很难学),后文说“I hpe I can speak it fluently when I graduate”(我希望毕业时能流利地说汉语),前后是转折关系,所以用并列连词“but”连接。
⑤“sign up fr...”
⑨“be well prepared fr...”
⑩“get used t ding sth.”
33.答案:using;t get;frm;called;because;actually;cnfusing;a;preparing;had written
②“expect t d sth.”
③“be different frm...”
⑨“spend time (in) ding sth.”
