His medium is the plastie litter he cllects frm lcal rubbish dumps and city streets. “Animals are dying and fish in the cean are dying—because f this material. It is we humans that need t take respnsibility,” said the 56-year-ld artist. Over the past three decades, Buthelezi has been using his wrks t bth highlight and address the issue.
