Retell the text.【 设计意图】通过四个问题的设置让学生快速地回顾reading的主要内容,最后再一起复述文本,学生更加熟悉文本内容。StepⅡ.Presentation一.Read the interview carefully and then circle some new words and phrases, underline some sentences which you can't understand.【 设计意图】让学生圈划他们不清楚的单词,短语和句子,培养他们自主学习的能力。Explain language points1.How can we choose the right colours to wear?choose vt.&vi. 选择动词choose意思是“选择;挑选”。表示“从……中选择”用choose ..… from结构;choose to do sth表示“选择去做某事”。例如:I choose an English-Chinese dictionary from the bookstore. 我从书店里挑选了一本英汉词典。He chooses to study in a junior high school near his home. 他选择在他家附近的一所初中学习。2. Could you give us some advice? ①could v. 可以;能情态动词could用于有礼貌地提出要求或请求准许,用于疑问句,代替can, 在时间上与can没有区别,但语气要比can委婉、有礼貌。回答时要用can,不能用could。 肯定回答:Yes,主语+can./Sure./Certainly./Yes,sure./No problem./With pleasure.等;    否定回答:No,主语+can’t./I’m afraid not.等。--Could you please take out the rubbish?       --Yes, sure. --Could you get something to drink after the movie? --No,you can’t.You have a basketball game tomorrow.②advice是不可数名词,不能说 many/a lot of/a few advices可以说 some,much,a little, a piece of 等。常用短语:give sb. advice   给某人提出建议或忠告take sb’s advice  采纳或接受某人的建议或忠告I’m going to give you some advice.  我将给你一些建议。 Take my advice. Don’t do it.  听我的建议。不要做这个。③ advise v. 建议advise 是个动词,它的动词短语搭配:advise sb. to do sth.   建议某人做某事 advise sb. not to do sth.   建议某人不要做某事advise doing sth.   建议做某事I advise you to leave right now.  我建议你马上离开。I advise you not to come back any more.  我建议你不要再回来。I advise waiting until she finishes class.  我建议等到她下课。3. such as VS for example...but other people look nice in cool colours, such as green, blue and purple.Try to pick similar colours. For example, wear dark blue jeans with a light blue blouse or T-shirt.①such as 用来“罗列” 几个例子,置于被列举的事物前,其后不用逗号,后接动词要用ing 形式, such as后接名词或短语,不能加句子I like to eat fruits, such as apples and durians.②for example强调“举例”说明,作为插入语且用逗号隔开,可置于句首、句中或句末; for example后接句子。Tom is very kind. For example, he often helps the old.4.Try to pick similar colours. ①Similar 做形容词,表示“相似的”。重要短语 be similar to, 表示“和…相似”。The sisters look very similar.  姐妹几个长得很像。My problems are similar to yours. 我的问题和你的相似。②Same做形容词,表示“一样的”,“同样的”。be the same…as… 表示“与…相同”.We have lived in the same house for twenty years.  我们在同一座房子里住了二十年了。I have the same book as yours. 我有和你一样的书5.Ok,but can we mix warm and cool colours?mix … and … together 把……和……混合在一起mix … with … 把……和……混在一起mix up 弄混;混淆Mix yellow and blue (together) to make green. Please mix the sugar with the flour. I mixed you up with your twin sister. 6.In fact, warm and cool colours make each other stand out...①in fact 事实上She looks 50 but in fact she's more than 60. 她看起来50岁,但事实上,她已经60多了。② fact n. 事实,真实情况The story is based on fact. 这个故事是基于事实的。③stand out 突出,显眼stand out 动词短语 “突出,显眼” ,还有“站出来”之意 The little things can help you stand out. 这些小事能帮助你比其他人更突出。④outstanding adj. 优秀的;突出的;杰出的; Kobe is an outstanding basketball player. 7. What colours match all? match v. 动词 “般配,相配” ,还有“匹配,配对”之意 I want to buy a scarf to match my gloves. 我想买一条围巾来配我的手套。 拓展:match 作名词,有“比赛”、“火柴” 的意思。Step III.
