My name is Brad Li. I’m here tday t tell yu abut my experience as an exchange student in the United Stated States last year.
I must admit that at first America was a big culture shk fr me. Many things were strange t me: the language, the fd and even the schl.
I stayed with a hst family in a small twn. My hst parents, Mr and Mrs Hurst, were very kind. They rganized a lt f activities fr me in my spare time s that I wuldn’t miss hme r feel lnely.

As a by, like all ther bys, my parents did everything fr me. Actually, they managed every minute f my life. Janna Cle, brn n August 11, 1944 in Newark, New Jersey, has been cnsidered t be ne f the mst ppular children’s authrs f all time. She has written ver 250 bks and is famus fr writing ne f the mst ppular children’s bk series. She knew as early as 5th grade that she was interested in writing and science. Cle’s passin (激情) came mstly frm ne f her elementary schl teachers.
Janna Cle cntinued her educatin by attending the University f Massachusetts and Indiana. She wuld eventually earn a bachelr’s degree in psychlgy frm the City Cllege f New Yrk in 1967. After graduatin Cle decided t take sme educatin curses t becme a librarian at a Brklyn elementary schl in 1967. Finally, she wuld take jbs wrking fr Newsweek, Seesaw bk club.
Cle’s passin fr writing and science was still alive and well during this time. In 1971, she decided t write her first bk, Cckraches. She did sme research and discvered there had never been a bk written fr children abut cckraches. S she thught she wuld be the first.

Emily Bhatnagar lves reading. “As a kid, I was really shy, s I always read bks,” she said. “They became my best friends when I didn’t have ne.”
