    “Singer 2024,” a music cmpetitin shw by Mang TV, started n May 10. The shw uses a “live- bradcast” frmat (形式) withut any editing, which has caused a lt f discussin.     During the Summer Wrld University Games, a big race called the men’s 4×100m relay (接力赛) tk place in a stadium in Chengdu n the evening f August 6th, 2023.
    The Chinese team cmpeted in the race. They knew they weren’t cnsidered the best fr the race but decided t give their best and fight fr victry. In this race, Deng Zhijian, a talented yung athlete (运动员) frm Mianyang, Sichuan, ran the final leg fr the Chinese team.

    Thusands f runners did up their running shes and pured ut frm the starting line while crwds cheered alng the curse. Marathns in China are picking up the pace again.     Fibrmyalgia (纤维肌痛症) is a lng-lasting health prblem, which makes peple feel f pain and have truble sleeping. It can make them feel bad bth in their bdies and minds. Sme researchers wanted t see if Tai Chi, a special kind f exercise that uses slw mvements t help bth bdy and mind, culd help peple with fibrmyalgia feel better. They studied 226 peple with fibrmyalgia fr a year. Sme did regular (常规) exercises, and thers did Tai Chi, which can be dne by anyne, n matter their physical limits.
    Befre starting, the researchers checked hw much pain and stress each persn had. They chse patients wh had a lt f pain and had been dealing with fibrmyalgia fr abut nine years. They divided them int tw grups: ne did regular exercises, and the ther did Tai Chi. Bth grups exercised twice a week fr an hur. After either 12 r 24 weeks f classes, they were tld t practice at hme fr at least 30 minutes every day. The researchers checked n them every mnth. They als asked hw much pain and ther prblems the patients had in the beginning, after 12 and 24 weeks, and after the whle year.
    The results shwed that the Tai Chi grups, especially thse wh practiced fr 24 weeks, had less pain than the regular exercise grups. The Tai Chi grups als felt less stressed and were better at dealing with their prblems. They attended their Tai Chi classes mre ften.
    Tai Chi is abut mving slwly t exercise all parts f the bdy. It helps with balance and cntrlling mvements. It als helps with feelings and behavir. The researchers said, “Tai Chi helped patients with fibrmyalgia feel better in their minds and bdies, which might be better fr them in the lng run.”
