1.She is teaching English in China. 她正在中国教学。teach是动词,意为“教,讲授”。其过去式和过去分词均为taught,其名词为teacher(老师)。常用短语:teach sb.sth.=teach sth.t sb.教授某人某事物;teach neself =learn sth.by neself自学……;teach sb.a lessn给某人一个教训;teach sb.t d sth.教某人做某事。Mr Smith teaches us English.史密斯先生教我们英语。

2.I was quite nervus then.那时我很紧张。 (1)【辨析】quite与very二者都是副词,都含有“很,非常”之意。区别如下:①quite的程度小于very;quite可直接修饰动词,而very则不能。如:Nw she quite enjys her jb.现在她很喜欢自己的工作。②quite可以修饰没有等级之分的形容词,如perfect(完美的)、impssible(不可能的)、right(正确的)、sure(确信的)、ready(准备好的)等等,而这些词不可以用very来修饰。quite在修饰此类形容词时,意为“完全,绝对”。如: It's quite impssible t finish the jb in such a shrt time.在这么短的时间内完成这项工作是绝不可能的。
③quite用于修饰名词时,常用“quite+限定词(+adj.)+名词”结构,当名词前有形容词时,相当于“限定词+very+adj.+名词”。如:He is quite a gd student.=He is a very gd student.他是个非常不错的学生。 ④quite可修饰介词短语,very则不能。但是very可以直接修饰名词,意为“正是,就是”,表强调。如:I am nw quite ut f mney.我现在完全没有钱了。This is the very bk that I lk fr.这正是我寻找的那本书。
(2)nervus是形容词,意为“紧张的,不安的”。常用短语:be/feel nervus abut sth.对某事物感到不安。如:I am always nervus when I speak in public.我在公共场所发言时总是很紧张。
3.Nw I feel quite cmfrtable and relaxed.现在我感觉非常舒服和放松。(1)cmfrtable是形容词,意为“舒适的,舒服的”。它是由名词cmfrt加上形容词后缀able构成的。其反义词为uncmfrtable(不舒服的)。如:Tday's weather is very cmfrtable.今天天气真舒服。
(2)【辨析】relaxed与relaxingrelaxed形容词,意为“感到放松的”。常用来修饰人,表示人的感受,在句中常作表语。relaxing形容词,意为“令人放松的”。它既可作表语也可作定语,常用来修饰物;作定语时偶尔可以用来修饰人。 一言辨异The relaxing mvie makes us feel relaxed.这部令人放松的电影让我们感到很轻松。
4.My students are wnderful and the ther teachers are always helpful.我的学生很棒,其他老师总是非常有帮助的。 helpful是形容词,意为“有帮助的,有用的”。该词是由动词help加上形容词后缀ful构成的,既可作表语也可作定语。其反义词为helpless(没用的)。常用短语:be helpful t对……有帮助。如:The cmputer is very helpful t my study.这台电脑对我的学习很有帮助。
5.Chinese students wrk very hard. 中国学生学习非常努力。hard在句中为副词,修饰动词wrk。该词用法有以下几点:①作副词,意为“努力地;辛苦地;(雨)猛烈地”,用来修饰动词时,位于动词之后。如:Every student shuld study hard t get gd marks.每个学生都应该努力学习获取高分。②作形容词,意为“困难的,费力的;坚硬的,坚固的”。当其表示“困难的,费力的”时,其同义词为difficult,反义词为easy(容易的);当其表示“坚硬的”时,反义词为sft(柔软的)。如:It is hard/difficult t wrk ut this math prblem.算出这道数学题很难。
