    The researchers used the sensry-based fd educatin methd Sapere, which makes use f children's natural way f relying n all f the five senses when learning new things. In the Sapere methd, children are given an active rle arund fd, and they are encuraged t share their sensry experiences. Fr example, kindergartens can intrduce different vegetables and fruit t children. They can invlve children in baking and cking, and they can ffer children pprtunities t grw their wn vegetables in the kindergarten backyard. Fd-related themes can als be included in bks and games.
