Rising temperatures driven by the climate crisis are cutting the sleep f peple acrss the wrld, the largest study t date has fund.
The researchers used data frm sleep-tracking wristbands (手环) used by 47,000 peple ver 7 mnths and acrss 68 cuntries. The analysis revealed that due t increasing night-time temperatures, the average glbal citizen is lsing 44 hurs f sleep a year.

Previus studies have shwn that rising temperatures damage health, including increasing heart attacks, mental health crises, and accidents and injuries. Pr sleep has als been shwn t have these effects, and the researchers say their new study suggests that disturbed sleep may be a key mechanism by which heat causes these health impacts.
